Harry Klinefelter was a renowned American physician who made significant contributions to the field of medicine.
Education and Early Career
Harry Klinefelter graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore in 1937.
From 1941 to 1942, he served as a research assistant to Dr. Fuller Albright at the Massachusetts General Hospital. During this time, he collaborated with Albright to describe a genetic disorder that later became known as Klinefelter Syndrome.
Military Service and Postwar Practice
In 1943, Klinefelter joined the United States Army and served until 1946.
